Vidal-Fleury - Vignobles
The Vineyards
of the Rhone Valley from North to South

The roots of Vidal-Fleury are in the northern part of Côte-Rôtie where terraced vineyards overhang the cellars. This confers to Vidal-Fleury a special expertise for wines born of terraces granite-hardened by a semi-continental climate.
Here the vine varieties are limited to Syrah for red wine and Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne for white wines.
Since the 1920s, Vidal-Fleury has also learned to make wine with characteristics of southern France from the varied soils of plains or hillsides swept by the whims of a more Mediterranean climate. Here the list of vine varieties gets longer even if the reds are widely dominated by the combinations of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre.
